One more week to go, and i’m off to another beautiful island of Krabi, Thailand.
I have a love-hate relationship with weddings. I’ve watched countless of proposal videos, wedding albums, even photographed a wedding event for an aunt. Tears of joy, laughing, smiling, envying, just feeling happy. Hoping for mine to be as beautiful as it is meant to be.
But nothing, and I mean nothing beats watching the wedding video of the person you love, and lost. Nothing at all.
Watching them exchanging their vows, kissing each other to make the commitment official, signing the Certificate of Marriage for both the couple as well as the witnesses, dancing infront of their loved ones, just smiling to each other and feeling the love that they have for each other.
It breaks my heart to see them happy. It really breaks my heart, and it’s still breaking as I am typing now. But I am happy, that you’re happy.
This time last year, when we stopped talking, I had a strong feeling that you got hitched. At that point, Adele’s oh so famous Someone Like You song became a hit. I posted that on my wall just because, I felt her lyrics. I felt that you might have settled down, that you’re with the girl and that you were married. I guess, she gave you the things that I didn’t give to you. Looking at the video, and the date that they got married, that strong feeling that I had, didn’t fail me there. You were indeed married.
Whatever happened to, “be ready for me, sweetheart.”
Sunset fall - I captured this moment at Yishun Dam during sunset. The boys were ready to take a photo and they were just waiting for my cousin to get herself up. Obviously the rest of the shots were epic fail cause everyone was trying to balance themselves on that barricade thingy they were standing on.
Danger, keep out! - like the previous photo, I decided to capture a few shots using the same film.
Multi signages. Thomson Road, Singapore - I took this when I first got my hands on my camera. I wanted to know how it’ll look like if I took 5 different shots on the same film.
Jurong MRT station - This was taken at night. I decided to take a photo of the train stopping at the station to find out how it’ll look like on film. This station is one of the most busiest station in Singapore cause it’s an interchange. People hop onto another train to continue their journey to wherever they want to.
Sembawang MRT, Sun Plaza - This is a train station and opposite the station is the world’s most boring mall you can ever find here in Singapore.
Jurong Bird Park - A place where you get to see lots and lots of birds(duh). I used to work at the park for about 1.5 years before I started working in the Public Service. Ok, I was kinda juggling two jobs at that time and I decided to work with the government.
i could stay lost in this moment, forever.
